Just got back from the Emerald Isle, and let me tell you—The Traveling Chevaliers (aka Craig and Jen) didn’t just take us on a tour, they delivered a full-blown Irish experience with a capital “E”.
We’ve travelled a lot—just the two of us, with the kids, across Europe, the U.S., the Caribbean, you name it. This was our very first group tour, and honestly? We weren’t sure what to expect. But Jen and Craig knocked it out of the park. We weren’t just not disappointed—we’re now wondering why we didn’t do this sooner.
From pulling our first pint at the Guinness Storehouse to dodging leprechauns in the lanes of Temple Bar, every stop was perfectly timed, smoothly organized, and full of stories, music, and that unmistakable Irish charm.
We stormed castles (Kilkenny, Blarney, Dublin, and Markree, where we stayed the night), strolled lush gardens at Kylemore Abbey, watched the sea crash into the Cliffs of Moher, and I swear even the cows in Glenbeigh looked happier because of how well our trip was planned. Bonus points for the whiskey tasting at Teeling, which may or may not have turned some of the group into a karaoke band for the evening in the hotel lobby. (The night manager loved us.)
And while the days were full of adventure, we usually had our evenings free to explore each city as a couple—which made it feel like the best of both worlds: organized fun with the group and relaxed time on our own.
Our guides? Living legends. Equal parts planners, historians, and comedians. Booking with them is like having great friends who make sure you’re on track with schedules, so you don’t need to stress or think twice. The hotels? Cozy, central, and always near a good pub (intentional or not, we thank you). The pacing? Spot on. We covered a ton but never felt rushed.
If you’re thinking about exploring, stop thinking. Book with The Traveling Chevaliers. You’ll laugh, you’ll learn, and you’ll love every minute.
Sláinte and thanks for the memories.
